If you are failing at losing fat then you are in a perfect place to move on in your journey to wellness and vitality. Sounds crazy but it is only when we are in failure that you have the opportunity to gain insight and wisdom.
It is only when you begin to carefully listen to what your body is trying to tell you, often in a whisper called symptoms; sometimes a shout, dare I say called a clinical event! Yes success leaves clues and do keep doing the things that are helping you release fat while you while you keep muscle.
HOWEVER when do you hit a plateau on your journey to release unwanted fat (and you will - so do not be surprised), at that failure point, you need make some lifestyle changes and find what your body needs to move on.
The human body is very adaptive and will do hardest to resist change. In other words, your body does not like to lose weight and the body works hard to keep energy intake and output in balance!
While we are all different (inherited DNA - good and bad, toxins and pathogens exposure and our lifestyle, what we put in and on our body) here a few things that are worth applying and do give yourself enough time to see what works for you:
- High Protein for breakfast. Why? Research has shown that when someone overweight has a high protein breakfast they reduce their appetite (and calorie consumption by 267 fewer) the rest of the day. Eggs are great food and you can cut calories with a good protein shake.
- Get enough good sleep. People who do not get their proper 8 hours of sleep experience hormonal fluctuations that increase appetite, research shows.
- Make sure you include a muscle strength/resistance training program to help increase lean body mass. Working your muscles will help to strengthen bone tissue, increase lean mass, and ultimately boost metabolic rate. Remember it is not about weight loss but rather improving your fat to lean mass ratio. You should already be walking 30 minutes a day. As you increase activity your does adapt and after a while requires less energy. The message might be to get more active, not aerobic classes just maybe more walking or some muscle building at home.
- Drink enough clean water, 2 litres a day is a good start and not just when you thirsty. Most of us are already dehydrated and you body needs water to properly detox as you metabolize fat.
- Up your Omega 3 - fish oil intake. It is not wise these days to eat too much fish (they are all toxic to a degree) so go for a good quality fish capsule, distilled is best but not cheap. This will help balance out the excess in Omega 6 we all get these days that may contribute to holding on to excess fat.
- So you think you are eating lots of good nutritious food. Sorry it is impossible these days, maybe 50 years ago but now. Even the American Medical Association in a 2002 edition of JAMA admitted "Most people do not consume an optimal amount of all vitamins by diet alone... It appears prudent for all adults to take vitamin supplements." That's because our foods have been stripped of vital nutrients. It is time to do some "Intelligent Supplementation" to provide the essential missing nutrients using a "real food technology" that includes glyconutrients, a synergistic blend of anti-oxidants, food form vitamins and minerals and phytochemicals from vine ripened fruits and vegetables.
- Perhaps you are not utilizing your food well because you need some probiotics to get your GI tract working properly? Blotting, wind and constipation might be a clue. Getting enough magnesium might also help especially to help with your calcium up take.
- Maybe your body pH is way too acidic? This will lock up the fat in your body. It is easy to test (get some testing strips designed to test Body pH) and easy to correct with the juice of a lemon or lime in water twice day.Remember Ben Franklin's definition of insanity - doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result....What changes does your body want you to can you make?
Knowing how to turn-off the fat switch is one of the biggest challenges facing so many people these days, both adults and even teenagers. We have been involved in the wellness industry for over 7 years and have some significant technologies developed in the field of intelligent supplementation. We continue to be amazed at how the body can return to normal physiology when we provide the essential missing nutrients no longer available in adequate amounts in the fruits and vegetables we buy.
Advanced protein peptide technology in the proprietory formulation of OsoLean (tm) Powder is the latest clinically proven breakthrough that allows your body to target fat loss while retaining muscle. This helps improve your lean mass to fat ratio to a degree that raises your Basal Metabolic Rate. This provides the key to maintaining a leaner, healthier body.
